Williamsport - Nestled along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, Williamsport is the county seat of Lycoming County. Once known as the "Lumber Capital of the World", it is today known as the birthplace of Little League Baseball and annually hosts the Little League World Series. Situated in a valley composed of several smaller communities, Williamsport is the hub of a population base of nearly 80,000 people. With many diversified industries, several colleges, a vibrant arts scene, and abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, Williamsport has much to offer.
Loyalsock - Loyalsock Township is the second largest populated area in Lycoming County trailing only Williamsport. It surrounds Williamsport on its eastern and northern sides and consists of urban, suburban and rural areas. A well-defined shopping area on East Third St offers everything from fast food and grocery shopping to specialty shops and department stores. Residential neighborhoods within the township offer all types of styles of housing from apartments and townhouses to modest detached single family homes in all price ranges and larger executive caliber homes. Loyalsock Township is governed by a Board of Supervisors and has its own school system.
Montoursville - Located at the eastern end of the Williamsport valley in central Lycoming County, Montousville is primarily a residential community of just under 5,000. As the site of the Williamsport-Lycoming County Airport and sitting just off of I-180, it's easy to get to just about anywhere from Montoursville.
Hughesville - Site of the annual Lycoming County Fair, Hughesville is a residential community of about 2,300 residents in the eastern end of Lycoming Count. Originally populated by the employees of its furniture and woodworking plants, Hughesville today is a small rural community with a strong work ethic that embraces its community center.
Muncy - Founded in 1797, the Borough of Muncy is a small, historic community situated along the Susquehanna River in southeastern Lycoming County approximately 13 miles east of Williamsport. Its 2,700 residents enjoy a vibrant community life with easy access to all points in the region via the Susquehanna Beltway (I-180). Muncy is also the closest community to the Lycoming Mall, the county's regional shopping mall.
Jersey Shore - Situated along the Susquehanna River in western Lycoming County, Jersey Shore was named for the New Jersey residents who settled on the river's north side. Located at the mouth of Pine Creek, it is the southern terminus of an extensive Rails to Trails bike path that traverses dozens of miles along one of Pennsylvania's scenic waterways. It's location, nearly equidistant from Williamsport and Lock haven in Clinton County, makes it a convenient location.
South Williamsport - Located along the southern side of the Susquehanna River across from Williamsport, this mostly bedroom community offers many quiet neighborhoods in affordable price ranges. This independent borough is governed by a mayor and 9 councilmen, 3 from each ward. South Williamsport also has its own school system. Offering a variety of small businesses, it's an easy place to live and is a short drive to the area’s major centers of employment. The community is internationally known as the host to the annual Little League World Series played every August and has an annual Mummer's parade in October.
Laporte - Located in beautiful Sullivan County, an area known for its scenic beauty and wildlife, with numerous lakes, hundreds of seasonal homes, and thousands of undeveloped acres, taking outdoor recreation to a whole new level.
Eagles Mere - Historic Eagles Mere is located in Sullivan County, one of the two central communities of the county. Surrounded by scenic beauty and wildlife, this historic town is warm and welcoming year round with charming shops and places to visit.
